Owned and operated by Mark Durland, the former Malaspina Water Taxi operator and owner/ builder of Garden Bay RV Resort, GBHH hopes to provide reliable and honest service in an area where that can be hard to find.

Looking for someone to help you with a project, paint your walls, replace the toilet
or build a new deck? Then you’ve come to the right place! We offer a variety of trade skillsets and handyman services you can rely on. "Jack of all trades, master of none," would be a fair way to describe me as a tradesman. I've renovated numerous houses and businesses over the years, but building my own house in 2014/ 2015 provided me with the opportunity to gain experience and get better at various trades to the extent that I feel confident enough in my abilities to offer them as a service.

**Our Home Services is just a concept that I am exploring right now and as such is a work in progress.**
With our Home Services offering/concept I aim to be able to offer smaller, shorter, simpler, and more exclusive services to people who have signed on and paid to be a client. Only available to people in Garden Bay and within a 10 minute drive from John Henry's. By joining this service you get my help for smaller tasks for which you need help getting done, but don't qualify as things for which someone is easily hireable or readily available. I will also offer shopping services for clients on the days I go to Sechelt or/ and Madeira Park.
Here is a sample list of things that you could ask me to do for you as a Home Services Client:
- Come over and help you move something heavy
- Stop by your house after a storm and check for any damage
- Pick up some booze at the liquor store or medicine at the pharmacy and deliver it to you
- Provide help in any way if you are sidelined by an injury, sickness, or recuperating from a surgery
- Give you a ride from a car repair place in Sechelt
- Borrow something instead of having to buy it or rent it yourself
- Perform smaller jobs/ tasks without charging travel time
- Help you out with anything you need help with
Home Services Clients also receive preferential treatment when it comes to home projects and any of our handyman services
